The aim of the 1st Social Event of the IMT and the Young Leaders Club, which took place on
July 19 at CUBEX ONE, was to inspire the participants to exchange innovative ideas and
thus to develop new joint projects between Mannheim University of Applied Sciences
and Heidelberg University. After an introduction and overview of the research fields and
institutions at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences and the Mannheim Medical
Faculty, getting to know each other took place in the form of a speed-dating format – with
great response. In 5-minute intervals, the participants introduced themselves and their
current research projects to each other. The informal ambience of CUBEX ONE with its roof
terrace contributed to the inspiring atmosphere. The next events are already being planned.
